Not all of us teachers are Type-A organizational gods.
The rest of us are Type-B, ADHD, disorganized functioning adults who have to show our admin a day book when we get evaluated even though we’ve been lesson planning on Post-It Notes our entire careers.
After a decade of not being able to keep a day book, and loathing the daybooks that are available, I designed my own. A week spread for jotting 1-word-ish lessons, spaces to remind me of meetings and practices, and ample space for sticky notes.
10 months + 42 weeks + 12 class grids. That’s it.
These are the basic designs, but customized options or suggestions are welcomed below.
